The New York Times, quoting Trump: If Iran does not reach a final nuclear agreement with America, we will resume military attacks against it.
June 15 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told The New York Times on Sunday that if Iran does not reach a final agreement with the United States on its nuclear program, he will resume military attacks on Tehran or make the United States "the guardian of the Middle East" in exchange for 20 percent of the region's revenues.
Trump told the newspaper that the agreement he reached with Iran would ultimately ensure that the Strait of Hormuz would remain "permanently duty-free."
