Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority: Air traffic resumes after suspension due to Iranian attacks
DUBAI, June 11 (Reuters) - Kuwait's Civil Aviation Authority said on Thursday that air traffic had resumed and Kuwait International Airport was operating normally after a temporary suspension caused by Iranian attacks.
The authority announced in a statement, "Air traffic in Kuwaiti airspace has returned to normal, after the circumstances that necessitated taking the previous precautionary measures have disappeared."
Kuwait closed its airspace and halted air traffic earlier today as a precautionary measure following the Iranian attacks, diverting flights to alternative airports.
