  • SPARK by Hilton Makkah Al Aziziyah will welcome guests later this year in the upscale economy category, coinciding with Hilton approaching 100 hotels operating or under development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Hilton (NYSE: HLT ) announced the signing of SPARK by Hilton Makkah Al Aziziyah, in partnership with Al Misbah Group, marking the brand's first upscale economy hotel in Saudi Arabia. The hotel is expected to open this year, further strengthening Hilton's portfolio in the Kingdom and strengthening its presence in one of the region's most dynamic markets. This expansion is part of Hilton's goal of having 100 hotels open or under development in Saudi Arabia this year.

The Spark by Hilton Makkah Al Aziziyah Hotel enjoys a strategic location east of the Grand Mosque, in the Aziziyah district of Makkah. It is close to Mina and offers direct access to Arafat via the train network. This location allows the hotel to efficiently serve pilgrims, especially since it is surrounded by commercial facilities that meet the needs of visitors year-round.

The SPARK by Hilton Makkah Al Aziziyah hotel is scheduled to feature 329 rooms, combining the highest standards of comfort with quality service. In line with SPARK's vision, the hotel offers guests a comprehensive range of services at reasonable prices, including a reception lobby, complimentary breakfast, and separate prayer rooms for men and women.
