Riyadh - Mubasher: The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the industrial sector indicators for the year 2024, which included the issuance of 1,346 new industrial licenses with investments exceeding SAR 50 billion, as part of the ministry’s efforts to stimulate industrial investments and enhance the growth of the industrial sector in the Kingdom.

The bulletin issued by the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information affiliated with the Ministry, according to a statement by the Ministry, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the indicators and variables of the industrial sector during the past year, revealed that the total number of jobs that will be added by the new industrial licenses issued in 2024 is estimated at about 44,000 jobs.

The bulletin indicated that the total number of factories that started production during the year 2024 amounted to 1,075 factories, with an investment volume exceeding 48 billion riyals, and the size of the workforce in these factories is estimated at 39 thousand workers.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, periodically issues the most important industrial indicators that reflect the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, and also reveals the extent of change.
The sector is witnessing, whether in the size of new industrial licenses or factories that have started production.
