Turkish Ministry of Transport: Ankara and Riyadh sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of railways and logistics services
Ankara, June 9 (Reuters) - Turkey and Saudi Arabia have signed two memoranda of understanding to boost cooperation in the railway and logistics sectors, the Turkish Transport Ministry announced on Tuesday.
The logistics agreement aims to support the establishment and management of logistics service centers, expand the scope of services, and foster joint cooperation.
The railway agreement, however, seeks to develop cooperation in all aspects of the sector, including technology, infrastructure, digital transformation and safety.
Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said that strengthening transport links is crucial to ensuring the continued flow of trade and logistics services without interruption amid regional challenges.
