Riyadh - Mubasher: The Ministry of Health announced the ten hospitals that achieved advanced positions in the Newsweek magazine's global ranking for the year 2025, in cooperation with the Statista platform, which specializes in data analysis .

The list of the best hospitals in the Kingdom for the year 2025 included forty hospitals from different regions, including public hospitals and the private sector.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh came in first place, followed by Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah in second place, and King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in third place.

The list also included King Saud Medical City in Riyadh in fourth place, Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in fifth place, King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh (Ministry of National Guard) in sixth place, followed by King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh in seventh place, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah in eighth place, King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah (Ministry of National Guard) in ninth place, and the International Medical Center in Jeddah in tenth place .

The list witnessed a remarkable development compared to last year, as the number of classified Saudi hospitals increased from 34 hospitals to 40 hospitals .

For his part, the Minister of Health stressed that this achievement reflects the prestigious position occupied by Saudi hospitals globally, and enhances the Kingdom’s position as a destination for high-quality healthcare, pointing to the major developments witnessed by the health sector thanks to the continuous investments in developing medical facilities, raising the efficiency of health cadres, and adopting the latest technologies to enhance the patient experience and improve the services provided .

It is noteworthy that the Newsweek classification was based on the opinions of more than 85,000 global medical experts, in addition to patient satisfaction data, health care quality indicators, and evaluation of patient outcome measurement applications (PROMs) .
