Riyadh – Mubasher: Asir region will host the second edition of the Asir Investment Forum from May 26-27, under the theme "Asir Thrives." The forum will see the participation of more than 700 local and international investors. The forum will include workshops, discussion sessions, and presentations on unique opportunities in the tourism, hospitality, agriculture, culture, sports, and food sectors .

Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Asir Region and Chairman of the Asir Development Authority, emphasized that the Asir Investment Forum is not just an economic event, but a strategic milestone that confirms Asir's transformation into an integrated development hub, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Prince Turki bin Talal said, "We have moved beyond the promotional phase to the implementation and attractive competition phase, supported by the wise leadership and the Kingdom's Vision 2030. We invite investors from within and outside the Kingdom to contribute to this historic transformation."

The forum aims to promote investment in promising sectors, diversify the economy, increase the contribution of the private sector, attract investments, and support small and medium-sized enterprises to increase their contribution to the gross domestic product. It also aims to highlight the cultural and heritage identity and create alliances for local and international partnerships, which will position Asir as a global tourism and investment destination and make it a key tourism and economic pillar within the Kingdom's Vision 2030 .

The forum's organizing committee revealed the most prominent economic indicators in the Asir region, noting that the region currently boasts 35 billion riyals in confirmed investments and 30 ready-made investment opportunities. It is also currently working to attract more than 25 billion riyals in diverse investments .
