Brazil to seek US explanation over 'terrorist' label for drug gangs
SAO PAULO, June 1 (Reuters) - Brazilian Finance Minister Dario Durigan said on Monday he will reach out to U.S. officials this week to better understand the reasons behind the Trump administration's decision to designate Brazil's two largest drug gangs as "terrorist" organizations.
Durigan had previously said the move could impact Latin America's largest economy on several fronts, including by jeopardizing foreign investments.
