NEW YORK, June 2 (Reuters Breakingviews) - Claude's developer filed to go public, with Sam Altman's OpenAI in hot pursuit. Their biggest challenge is finding more servers to grow revenue. Building or renting is one path. Using richly valued equity to buy companies such as $70 bln CoreWeave or Nebius would be faster.

Anthropic, which operates the Claude family of large-language AI models, said on June 1 it has confidentially filed for a U.S. initial public offering.
Rival OpenAI also is preparing to submit an IPO prospectus, Reuters reported on May 1, citing unnamed sources.
