NEW YORK, June 30 (Reuters Breakingviews) - Whiskey distiller Brown-Forman rejected Sazerac’s $15 bln bid and ended talks with Pernod-Ricard. Staying independent gets trickier as new drinking habits erode the company’s dividend-funding marquee product. Any rift among the family owners would be an opportunity for suitors.
