BUZZ-Brazil homebuilder Cury falls after weak Q2 operational results

July 8 (Reuters) - ** Shares in Brazilian homebuilder Cury CURY3.SA drop some 5% on Wednesday after the firm reported weaker-than-expected operational results for the second quarter
** Cury said its net sales declined about 13% year-on-year to 1.75 billion reais ($340.2 million) in the April-June quarter, while launches fell 1% to 1.94 billion reais
** Analysts at JP Morgan say the firm's net sales and launches were, respectively, 12% and 17% weaker than their estimates, forecasting a negative market reaction
** Cury is expected to release its full quarterly financial results on August 11
** Cury's Sao Paulo-listed shares fall around 5%, the biggest loser in the Bovespa benchmark index .BVSP, which is down 0.7%
** Year-to-date, Cury is up some 3%
