** Shares in Indra Sistemas IDR.MC rise around 3% after the Spanish defence contractor said it won a $342 million contract from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

** The U.S. Transportation Secretary said on Monday it awarded contracts to Indra and RTX Corp to supply new radars for its ageing air traffic control system, though value of contracts was not stipulated

** Banco Sabadell analysts say the contract could account for 5% of Indra's revenues and boost its presence in the U.S.

** They also note Indra's growing footprint in the U.S. air traffic sector, citing prior contract wins such as a 171 million euro deal with the U.S. Air Force in May 2025
