BUZZ-SES climbs after US FCC announces vote on new spectrum auction

** Shares in SES SESFg.LU rise close to 5% after the U.S. Federal Communications Commission said it would vote on setting up a new spectrum auction in 2027

** FCC plans July 22 vote to hold an auction of 160 megahertz of spectrum in the Upper C-Band

** "This would be positive news for SES, which has previously indicated its willingness to return spectrum in exchange for compensation," says ING analyst Jan Frederik Slijkerman

** The spectrum is currently used by SES and Intelsat, and to a lesser extent by Eutelsat ETL.PA, Slijkerman says

** SES is second-best performer on Europe's STOXX 600 .STOXX index
