Carlyle Group to sell Germany's Flender to Triton Partners

June 3 (Reuters) - Carlyle CG.O said on Wednesday it agreed to sell mechanical drive systems provider Flender to Triton Partners in a deal between equity firms.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed
The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026
Germany-based Flender is a supplier of gearboxes, couplings and generators for industrial and wind power applications with more than 8,000 employees in 34 countries
Triton Partners' expertise in the energy industry includes current and previous investments in companies such as RENK, Trench and FairWind
Bloomberg reported on Tuesday Triton was nearing $3.5 billion deal for Flender, which Carlyle bought from Siemens SIEGn.DE in 2021
