Critical Metals Corp. has announced the successful replication of historical metallurgical test work at its Tanbreez project, confirming key results that support the company's commercial plans. The latest tests, independently reviewed by Professor Tony Tang, verified the recovery of eudialyte and mixed concentrates, building on results from a 2016 study. This progress advances the development of a Proof-of-Concept Pilot Plant capable of processing 300-500 kg of ore per hour, with commissioning expected in the second quarter of 2026. The pilot plant will inform the design of a full-scale production facility and provide pre-production material for offtake partners. The project is part of a 50:50 joint venture with Nuclearelectrica Romania and aims to establish a Western-aligned rare earth supply chain. Pending government approval, the initiative will also focus on training and employing local personnel in Greenland.
