Shares of Diodes Inc (NASDAQ:DIOD) rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued first-quarter sales guidance above estimates.

Diodes posted adjusted EPS of 34 cents versus market estimates of 32 cents. The company's quarterly sales came in at $391.578 million versus expectations of $385.560 million.

Diodes shares jumped 31.8% to $81.32 on Wednesday.
