Don't Ignore The Insider Selling In Alkami Technology
Alkami Technology Inc ALKT | 15.25 | -5.86% |
We wouldn't blame Alkami Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALKT) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that W. Hill, the CFO & Treasurer recently netted about US$504k selling shares at an average price of US$24.76. However, it's crucial to note that they remain very much invested in the stock and that sale only reduced their holding by 9.4%.
Alkami Technology Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
The insider, George Kaiser, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$94m worth of shares at a price of US$37.50 each. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (US$25.56). So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it.
