Drone briefly enters Romanian airspace during Russian attack on Ukraine-defence ministry
BUCHAREST, May 7 (Reuters) - A drone briefly breached Romanian airspace during a Russian attack on neighbouring Ukraine earlier on Thursday, the defence ministry said in a statement, adding Romania scrambled two f-16 fighter jets to monitor the situation.
The drone was seen by radars near the village of Chilia in the border county of Tulcea across the Danube from Ukraine, the statement said.
