Tesla Motors, Inc. TSLA | 0.00 |
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has achieved a crucial milestone in the Energy Transition with the financial close of the 392 MW Pestera II onshore wind project in Romania. Marking one of the largest renewable energy financings in Central and Eastern Europe, this development underscores Romania’s commitment to enhancing energy security and affordability through sustainable means. The project, supported by a consortium of international banks and backed by a 15-year contract for difference, highlights the increasing role of significant institutional capital and bankable regulatory frameworks in advancing renewable energy infrastructure. With an estimated operational start in 2028, Pestera II is poised to deliver long-term, competitively priced renewable power.
