- Northwest European gasoline refining margins dropped $7.23 to $32.73 a barrel on Wednesday as oil prices surged over 5%.

  • Sahara sold 4,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline barges to Varo.

  • Trafigura sold 2,000 tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges to Gunvor and MB Energy.

  • Russia introduced a ban on diesel exports on Wednesday and will begin importing fuel in July as part of measures to address widespread gasoline and diesel supply issues, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at a televised government meeting.

  • President Donald Trump said an interim agreement to end the war with Iran was "over" and that the United States was likely to launch new strikes on Wednesday night following Iranian attacks on U.S. bases in the Gulf. In response, oil surged by more than 5% on Wednesday and global stocks and bond prices tumbled.
