Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins soften
LONDON, June 25 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins fell slightly to $29.82 a barrel on Thursday despite a drop in regional inventories, as higher stockpiles in the United States weighed.
Roughly 12,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline barges were traded in the Argus window, with TotalEnergies and Shell selling to Varo and Sahara in six deals.
An additional 10,000 tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges were traded, with Exxon Mobil and Sahara selling to Varo and TotalEnergies across five deals.
Gasoline stocks held independently in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub fell 2.5% in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
Gasoline stocks stood at 1.02 million metric tons as exports firmed and demand from inland locations rose, Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen said.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI rose by 2.1 million barrels last week to 216.3 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 0.6 million-barrel draw. EIA/S
EU-27 and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions have averaged 981,000 barrels per day so far this month, from an average of 883,000 bpd for the whole of May, Kpler data showed.
