Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Colony Bankcorp, Inc. (NYSE:CBAN) Executive VP & Chief Corporate Development Officer, Edward Canup, recently bought US$87k worth of stock, for US$21.63 per share. Although the purchase is not a big one, increasing their shareholding by only 8.5%, it can be interpreted as a good sign.

Notably, that recent purchase by Edward Canup is the biggest insider purchase of Colony Bankcorp shares that we've seen in the last year. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, even at a higher price than the current share price (being US$21.48).
