NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - U.S. spot natural gas prices at the Henry Hub benchmark in Louisiana NG-W-HH-SNL averaged a four-year high for the month of June, pricing data from financial firm LSEG showed.

Gas prices averaged $3.15 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) in June, their highest for the month since 2022.

That was up from an average of $3.02 per mmBtu in June 2025 and compares with an average of $3.69 during the month over the past five years (2021 to 2025).

In calendar year 2025, prices at Henry Hub averaged $3.53 per mmBtu, up from a four-year low of $2.19 in 2024 and a five-year average of $3.72. NGAS/POLL
