Fed's Goolsbee says inflation problem 'significant'

- Chicago Federal Reserve President Austan Goolsbee on Thursday said he feels the U.S. inflation problem is worsening, in contrast to the stability he is seeing in the labor market.

"My own take is that right now we have a pretty significant inflation problem developing, but the job market has been mostly stable," Goolsbee said in an interview on WBEZ Chicago radio. "I'm the most attuned on this inflation side, because we were making progress, then we stopped making progress."
