Saudi Fintech Industrial Lending Jumps 130%
Saudi fintech lending to industrial projects surged 130% year on year to SAR541 million in H1 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said. Partnerships expanded from three to seven fintech firms, providing manufacturers with flexible working capital, invoice financing, and expansion funding to support production and growth.
Saudi Holy Cities Outpace Hotel Markets: JLL
Real estate consultancy JLL said religious and domestic tourism bolstered Saudi hotels despite a 5%-7% decline in tourism through May 2026. Through June, Makkah occupancy rose 6.3 percentage points to 68.2%, with RevPAR up 8.7%, while Madinah led at 75.1%. Riyadh occupancy fell 16.3 points to 47.6% as corporate demand weakened and supply grew.
Trump: No Timetable for Iran Talks
President Donald Trump said he had no timetable and was in no hurry for Iran to return to negotiations, Al Jazeera reported. ACIG Amends Diar Al-Arabia Subscription Deal
Allied Cooperative Insurance Group(8150.SA) amended its subscription agreement with Diar Al-Arabia, setting the deadline for conditions at five business days after shareholder approval. Diar Al-Arabia will subscribe to 900,000 new shares for SAR9 million, raising capital to SAR 300 million to meet regulatory requirements.
Najran Cement Shareholders Approve Board Delegation
