On Monday, Saudi Arabia's benchmark index Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA)  fell 0.9% to its lowest level in nearly two years, pressured by broad-based sectoral losses.

Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) , the world's largest Islamic lender, and oil giant Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA)  both fell 0.9%. Elsewhere, Theeb Rent a Car Co.(4261.SA)  dropped more than 2% as its shares traded ex-dividend..

The NASDAQ(IXIC.US)  closed at a record high on Monday as investors geared up for a data-heavy week that includes two closely watched readings on inflation. The tech-heavy NASDAQ(IXIC.US)  finished up 0.45% at 21,798.70, a record high after hitting a new all-time intraday high in the session. The S&P 500 index(SPX.US) , meanwhile, settled up 0.21% at 6,495.15, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average(DJI.US) rose 114.09 points, or 0.25%, to close at 45,514.95.

PIF to Implement New Strategy in Coming Months

Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced that Saudi Arabia intends to outline the fund's new strategy within the next two months. This strategy will expand upon the current plan through 2030 and extend further into 2040 and beyond.

CMA Reviews Over 51 IPO Applications Across Sectors

Abdulaziz bin Hassan, a board member of the Capital Market Authority (CMA), stated that there are currently over 51 IPO applications under review across sectors such as healthcare, technology, and logistics.

Saudi Aramco Sets October OSP for Arab Crude

Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA)  has set the official selling price (OSP) for its Arab Light crude oil for October delivery to North America at $4.2 per barrel above the Argus Sour Crude Index (ASCI). The OSP for Arab Light crude to Europe - Mediterranean was set at $2.35 above ICE Brent. Additionally, the OSP for East Asia was set at $2.2 higher than the average of the Oman and Dubai benchmarks.

AMAK Board Approves 12.5% Dividend for H1 2025

Almasane Alkobra Mining Co(1322.SA) ’s  board declared a 12.5% cash dividend, equivalent to SAR 1.25 per share, for the first half of 2025 on September 8th. The total dividend amounts to SAR 110.70 million.

MIS Secures SAR 227.8M Data Center Expansion Deal with SDAIA

Al Moammar Information Systems Co.(7200.SA)  has entered into a SAR 227.8 million contract, inclusive of VAT, with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) to expand the Naqaa Data Center in Riyadh, as represented by the National Information Center.

Sumou Inks SAR 86.5M Credit Facility with SAB

Sumou Real Estate Co.(4323.SA)  has signed a Shariah-compliant credit facility valued at SAR 86.5 million with Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), as per a statement to Tadawul.

Nebius Soars 46.6% After-hours on $19.4B Microsoft Deal

On September 8, 2025, Nebius Group(NBIS.US) , a subsidiary of Nebius Group N.V., secured a commercial agreement with Microsoft Corporation(MSFT.US) . The contract will grant Microsoft access to dedicated GPU infrastructure at the new data center in Vineland, New Jersey, over a five-year period.

Intel Corporation(INTC.US)  announced significant executive changes on Monday as CEO Lip-Bu Tan aims to streamline operations and reassure investors after the U.S. government's unprecedented move to take a 10% stake in the chipmaker.
