Saudi Q3 GDP Jumps 4.8%, Led by Oil and Non-Oil Sector Growth

Saudi Arabia’s GDP rose 4.8% year-on-year in Q3 2025, driven by 8.3% growth in oil activities and 4.3% in non-oil sectors. The results highlight Vision 2030’s progress in diversifying the economy. Exports increased 18.4% and imports 4.3% year-on-year. The World Bank and IMF have both revised up Saudi growth estimates for 2025, citing renewed strength across sectors.

Saudi Arabia has achieved fifth place worldwide and top ranking in the Arab region for AI sector growth, according to the Global AI Index. Nvidia Gains Over 2% After Hours on Trump Chip Policy News

After-hours on December 8 (ET), Trump posted on Truth Social that the US will allow NVIDIA Corporation(NVDA.US) to deliver H200 products to designated customers in China and other countries, provided national security remains intact.

Trump stated that “25% of the proceeds will be paid to the United States,” describing the policy as supportive of US jobs, manufacturing, and taxpayers. He criticized the previous administration for requiring “downgraded” chips and said this new policy will also apply to Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.(AMD.US), Intel Corporation(INTC.US), and other companies. Nvidia’s Blackwell and Rubin chips are not included in this arrangement.

Tesla Drops Over 3% Overnight

Morgan Stanley says that while Elon Musk is eager to transform Tesla Motors, Inc.(TSLA.US) into a robotics and AI company, Tesla’s share price already fully reflects the value of these businesses and is currently at “valuation saturation.”
