Saudi Arabia Opens Subscription for December “Sah” Savings Sukuk at 4.68%

Saudi Arabia has launched the December round of its government-backed “Sah” savings sukuk, offering a 4.68% annual return—slightly lower than last month’s rate. Subscriptions are open Dec. 7–9 exclusively to Saudi nationals via authorized investment platforms, with a minimum investment set at SAR1,000 and a maximum of SR200,000. The sukuk aims to boost personal savings under Vision 2030, matures in one year, and pays fixed returns at redemption. The Saudi debt market continues to grow, with strong investor demand for fixed-income products.

IMF: GCC Growth to Accelerate in 2025 on Non-Oil Strength; Inflation, Banking Stable

The GCC is set for 3.3% growth in 2025, up from 1.7% in 2024, as OPEC+ output cuts ease. The IMF forecasts strong non-oil expansion, robust investment, and stable banking systems, with non-oil GDP boosted by major events like the World Expo 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Inflation will remain contained, while risks include weaker oil demand, trade tensions, and project delays.

Marafiq, Aramco Settle Fuel Supply Dispute with SAR 70M Payment

The Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu(2083.SA) reached a settlement with Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) over Yanbu 2’s heavy fuel oil supply. Aramco will pay Marafiq SAR 70 million and grant annual exemptions on fees worth SAR 15 million until 2033.

The deal supports Masayoshi Son’s US$500B data center strategy with OpenAI and Oracle. DigitalBridge manages US$108B in assets across data centers and related infrastructure.
