Saudi Arabia's benchmark Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) closed 0.2%, or 21 points, lower at 10,824 on Aug. 13, with total turnover at about SAR 4.4 billion. The index moved between 10,858 and 10,820. Market breadth was negative, with 108 advancers versus 161 decliners. Among notable names, The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) rose 1% to SAR 41.30, while Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) eased 0.5% to SAR 26.48 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) slipped 0.9%. AFG International Co.(4240.SA) was the top gainer, advancing 10%, and MIS Al Moammar Information Systems Co.(7200.SA) added 5% to SAR 306, its highest close since listing.
On Wall Street, the S&P 500 index(SPX.US) slid 0.2% to 7,785.76 on Friday, while the NASDAQ(IXIC.US) shed 0.3% to 26,729.16 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average(DJI.US) slipped 107.58 points, or 0.2%, to 53,732.41, pulling back from a record-setting session a day earlier. Despite the dip, the S&P 500 notched its third straight weekly advance, rising 0.4% for the week, and the Nasdaq also eked out a third consecutive weekly gain, up 0.1%, while the Dow closed 0.6% lower week to date.

PIF U.S. Equity Holdings Surge to $37.9 Billion in Q2
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund raised its U.S. equity holdings to $37.9 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up from $12.0 billion in the prior quarter, according to a U.S. SEC filing. The fund increased its portfolio to five companies from four, maintaining positions in Lucid, Electronic Arts, Uber and Clarivate while adding SpaceX. The latest allocation remains well below the fund's peak of $56.7 billion across 33 companies in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Oil Extends Weekly Gains as Middle East Supply Risks Linger
Crude prices settled higher on Friday, with Brent for October rising $1.45, or 1.67%, to $88.52 a barrel and WTI for September adding $1.15, or 1.42%, to $82.40. Both benchmarks posted weekly gains of roughly 6%, supported by renewed supply disruptions in the Middle East and the Black Sea, including attacks on tankers near the Strait of Hormuz and a halted Russian export terminal at Novorossiysk.

Solutions to Seek Approval for 100% Bonus Share Issue
Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co.(7202.SA) , trading as Solutions, will hold an extraordinary general assembly on Oct. 6, 2026, to vote on a board proposal to increase capital by 100% through a bonus share distribution. The plan would lift capital to SAR 2.4 billion from SAR 1.2 billion and shares to 240 million from 120 million, issuing one free share for every share held and funded by SAR 1.2 billion of retained earnings, to support the company's growth and expansion strategy.
Asas Makeen H1 Revenue Jumps 59% Despite Profit Drop
ASAS Makeen Real Estate Development and Investment Co.(9640.SA) reported first-half revenue of SAR 213.3 million, up 59% year on year, driven by a 226% surge in contracting and third-party development income to SAR 124.9 million. Net profit attributable to shareholders fell 30% to SAR 40.79 million, however, weighed by thinner property-sales margins, discounts on some units and higher financing costs. (Listed on Nomu.)
MIS Wins SAR 80.9 Million CMA Contract
Al Moammar Information Systems Co.(7200.SA) signed a contract with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) valued at SAR 80,877,508.20 including VAT, the company said in a bourse filing. The deal extends MIS's role in delivering technology and data-center services to the regulator.
BinDawood Buys Estonian Dairy Assets via Unit
BinDawood Holding Co.(4161.SA) won a bid through its wholly owned Estonian subsidiary JUUST & JUBN OÜ to acquire the dairy production assets of AS E-Piim Tootmine in Estonia, expanding the retailer's food and manufacturing footprint in the Baltics.
SVCP Board Backs Capital Cut Then Rights Issue
Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co.(2360.SA) said its board recommended reducing the company's capital and then increasing it through a rights issue, a restructuring aimed at strengthening the balance sheet. Full terms, including the ratio and timing, will be set out in a later disclosure.

Shares of the AI infrastructure complex advanced as recent earnings reinforced the data-center build-out:
- Micron Technology, Inc.(MU.US) rebounded to $971 from a $737 low, with revenue up 346% YoY to $41 billion and a $51 billion Q4 guide; the stock formed an inverse head-and-shoulders with a $993 neckline.
- Dell Technologies, Inc. Class C(DELL.US) pulled back to $490 after hitting a record $514, up 292% year to date; Wells Fargo lifted its target to $545.
- Super Micro Computer, Inc.(SMCI.US) posted revenue of $11.1 billion and net income of $1.17 billion, while Lenovo's revenue rose 43% to $26.9 billion on the same read-through.
SpaceX and Tesla Rebound Restore Musk's Fortune
SpaceX SpaceX(SPCX.US) has recovered about 32% from its post-IPO low, lifting Elon Musk's net worth above $858 billion, while Tesla $TSLA rebounded to $342 from an August low of $297 on stronger China and Europe sales. Analysts see further upside for SpaceX, with a Benzinga average price target of $230 implying roughly 65% headroom from current levels.
