HPE Wins $931 Million DISA Contract for Data Center Modernization

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE) has been awarded a contract by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for a distributed hybrid multi-cloud solution aimed at modernizing DISA's data centers. The agreement, structured as a Production Other Transaction Authority, has a 10-year period of performance and a total life cycle value of $931 million. HPE will deploy its Private Cloud Enterprise using GreenLake to establish a secure, compliant cloud environment with on-premises and air-gapped management. This deployment is intended to unify DISA's IT infrastructure, enhance data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities, and simplify management across public and private clouds.
