July 5 (Reuters) - Iraq's oil minister said on Sunday that Basra Oil Company had signed a five-year integrated management contract with U.S. firm Halliburton for the Bin Umar and Sindbad oilfields, in line with government plans to boost production.
The contract aims to raise Bin Umar's crude output to 150,000 barrels per day and Sindbad's to 100,000 barrels per day, while increasing associated gas production at both fields.
