JERA to build large-scale, gas-fired power plant in US, Nikkei says
TOKYO, June 22 (Reuters) - JERA, Japan's biggest power generator, plans to construct a large-scale, gas-fired power plant in the United States, Nikkei reported on Monday.
The company is expected to invest about 500 billion yen ($3.09 billion) in the new plant, which will be built alongside a data centre, with operations targeted to begin around 2028, it reported.
