WALL STREET STOCKS MOSTLY LOWER, WITH TECH AMONG DECLINERS

U.S. stocks are mostly edging lower in early trading on Friday with the technology sector .SPLRCT and healthcare .SPXHC among the biggest decliners in the S&P 500 .SPX.

The Nasdaq .IXIC is also lower while the Dow is slightly higher.

Investors are watching for the Nasdaq debut of South Korean chip bellwether SK Hynix 000660.KS due this session. Hynix is indicated to jump 20% in its debut following its $26.5 billion share sale.

An index of chipmakers .SOX is down 0.7% early after days of big drops and big gains.

Shares of Delta Air Lines DAL.N are down 2% even as the company reaffirmed its full-year profit forecast and provided a stronger-than-expected third-quarter outlook.
