TASI Mid-Market Update — February 18, 2026
In early Wednesday trading, the Saudi benchmark index Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) advanced 0.3%, positioning the market to potentially break a three-day declining trend.
The index's positive momentum was notably supported by a 1% gain in The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA), the Kingdom’s largest lender by assets, alongside a 0.3% increase in Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA).
Major Gulf stock markets also experienced early gains. This regional uptick follows reported progress in nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, which has contributed to an easing of geopolitical tensions and fears of military conflict.
Oil prices remained largely unchanged during Asian trading hours, following an approximate 2% decline in the previous session. Market participants are currently exercising caution regarding the finalization of a geopolitical agreement and its potential impact on global energy supply constraints.
Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) up by 0.4% and the Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) rises slightly by 0.05%, while ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) lost by 0.5%.
