TASI Mid-Market Update — June 22, 2026
Saudi Arabia's benchmark equity index, the Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), registered a minor decline on Monday, easing by 0.16% during the morning session. The market's downward movement was primarily driven by losses in heavy-weight financial and energy constituents.

Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East showed signs of moderation as senior U.S. and Iranian officials concluded their first round of peace talks in Switzerland, agreeing on a 60-day roadmap toward a final deal. However, regional stability remains complex following Iran's weekend closure of the Strait of Hormuz and a major explosion at Qatar's Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas processing facility.
The country's largest banking institution by assets, The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA), recorded a 0.8% reduction in its share price. Concurrently, state-backed oil major Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) saw its shares decrease by 0.3%.
The localized equity contractions coincided with a broader downswing in international energy benchmarks, where Brent crude futures (LCOc1) declined by $1.68, or 2.09%, to trade at $78.89 per barrel by 06:33 GMT. Regional market performance remained tightly aligned with these shifts in major underlying commodity lines and asset valuations.
In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is holding steady. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is retreating by 1.10%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is posting a gain of 0.15%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is holding steady.

Cenomi Centers Corrects Capitalization Figure
