TASI Mid-Market Update — June 1, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark stock index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), eased by 0.1% in early trading on Monday, June 1, 2026. The market performance was heavily influenced by a 0.5% decline in Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA).

The pull-back coincided with broader regional market retreats following an exchange of military strikes between Iran and the United States over the weekend, alongside expanded Israeli military operations in Lebanon. The heightened geopolitical friction dampened investor expectations for a near-term ceasefire extension, despite ongoing negotiations hosted in Washington. Concurrently, global oil prices advanced by more than 2% in early trade, driven by supply concerns stemming from the conflict, which in turn accelerated broader macroeconomic apprehensions regarding inflationary pressures and subsequent interest rate trajectories.

In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.52%. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is easing by 0.35%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is down by 0.2%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is under pressure, dropping 2.5%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.71%. Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) is seeing a dip of 0.4%.
