TASI Mid-Market Update — June 4, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark index Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) edged down 0.2% in choppy early trading on Thursday. The came amid broader regional optimism following a joint statement from the U.S. State Department confirming that Israel and Lebanon agreed to implement a ceasefire, contingent on Hezbollah ceasing fire and evacuating operatives from the South Litani Sector.

However, market momentum remained capped as investors maintained a cautious stance. Attention quickly pivoted back to renewed geopolitical friction involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, following an Iranian strike on Kuwait's airport and subsequent U.S. military counter-strikes near the strait, keeping market participants alert despite recent hopes for diplomatic progress.

In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is holding steady. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.51%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is posting a gain of 0.79%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.54%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is seeing a slight dip of 0.27%. Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) is easing by 0.4%.
