TASI Mid-Market Update — July 8, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark index (Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA)) eased 0.25% on Wednesday, reflecting a general decline across major Gulf equity markets. The market performance followed renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and the introduction of fresh U.S. sanctions on Iranian oil, which pressured regional investor sentiment.

Within the index, banking heavyweight Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) declined by 0.6%, contributing to the downward movement. Conversely, national oil major Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) provided partial support to the index, firming up by 1.6% as global crude prices rose, with Brent futures trading up 6.4% to $78.93 a barrel.

In the large-cap sector, The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is seeing declines, moving 0.6%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is retreating by 1.10%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is under pressure, dropping 1.7%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is holding steady.

US President Donald Trump announced at the NATO summit in Ankara on Wednesday that the tentative ceasefire agreement with Iran has ended, calling negotiations a waste of time. Following the statement, global energy markets spiked with both WTI and Brent crude surging over 5%. Conversely, spot gold pulled back sharply to hit $4,070 per ounce, while US equity futures fell.

Saudi German Health Up ~5% after Approves SAR 0.5/share Dividend

Middle East Healthcare Co.(4009.SA) (Saudi German Health) shareholders approved a 5% cash dividend of SAR 0.5 per share, totaling SAR 46.02 million for 2025. Record date is July 7, with payment on July 23, 2026. Shareholders also elected a new four-year board following the CMA-enforced resignation of six members in May and approved SAR 1.36 million in board remuneration. The stock up nearly 5% today.
