TASI Mid-Market Update — March 12, 2026
Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) once advanced 0.2% in early trading on Thursday, outperforming broader regional markets. The index's positive momentum was primarily driven by a 1% gain in heavy-weight Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA), which tracked a significant surge in global energy markets. Brent crude futures once rose 9.28% to $100.52 per barrel amid escalating geopolitical tensions and potential supply disruptions in the Middle East.
However, the index turned to loss of -0.2% at the time of this reporting, and Aramco down by 0.5%.

Regional market sentiment has been weighed down by security concerns following reports of intercepted drone attacks near Saudi Arabia's Shaybah oilfield and wider disruptions to regional transport infrastructure.
