TASI Mid-Market Update — July 28, 2026
Global oil prices extended losses on Tuesday, with benchmark contracts declining by more than 1.5% to hit multi-day lows amid easing fears over Middle East supply disruptions and ongoing diplomatic developments.
Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) down by 0.6% during early trading on Tuesday.

Geopolitical & Diplomatic Developments: Prices softened following remarks from U.S. leadership indicating active talks with Iran regarding potential conflict resolution. Additionally, proposals for a joint regional management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz between Oman and Iran helped ease immediate market anxiety over critical transit chokepoints.
Analyst Outlook: Financial institutions note that a full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz could anchor Brent prices near $80 per barrel by year-end, though ongoing Red Sea transit risks and threats to regional oil infrastructure continue to present potential upside price volatility.
In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is easing by 0.5%. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) and Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) are both relatively flat, moving 0.15% and 0.62% respectively.
