TASI Mid-Market Update — July 16, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), edged 0.03% higher during Thursday's trading session.

Regional market activity occurred against a backdrop of escalating geopolitical tensions, following a fresh round of U.S. military strikes on Iranian coastal defenses and missile sites. The U.S. actions came after the reinstatement of a naval blockade on Iranian ports, prompting warnings from Tehran regarding potential restrictions on regional energy exports. Marine traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remained obstructed due to ongoing military operations, impacting a waterway that historically carried approximately one-fifth of global oil and gas shipments.

In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is edging higher by 0.47%. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is advancing 0.85%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is holding steady. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is retreating by 1%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is posting a gain of 0.5%. Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) is down by 0.15%.
