TASI Mid-Market Update — April 12, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), traded lower during the early session on Sunday, declining 0.1%. This performance follows the conclusion of high-level diplomatic negotiations between the United States and Iran, which ended without a formal agreement. The lack of a diplomatic breakthrough has weighed on investor sentiment across Gulf markets, renewing concerns regarding the long-term stability of the regional ceasefire.

Within the index, budget airline Flynas Co.(4264.SA) recorded a decline of 1.8%. Despite the broader geopolitical uncertainty, market analysis indicates that Saudi Arabia has maintained a level of resilience due to its strategic ability to reroute oil exports. Consequently, estimated oil revenues for March showed a year-on-year increase, contrasting with other regional producers impacted by logistics disruptions.

While the stalled negotiations have introduced volatility, the energy sector noted signs of normalization as the first fully laden supertankers since the ceasefire transited the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday. The market continues to monitor the situation closely, balancing the impact of geopolitical developments against stabilized energy export revenues and recovering shipping lanes.

In the large-cap sector, Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) is edging higher by 0.4%. The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is higher by 0.3%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is easing by 0.21%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is retreating by 1.30%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is retreating by 1%. Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) is edging lower by 0.07%.
