TASI Mid-Market Update — January 27, 2026

The Saudi benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), edged higher during early Tuesday trading, advancing by 0.7%. The market’s upward trajectory was primarily supported by positive sentiment surrounding the financial sector as several major lenders released their annual corporate earnings. 

The index has now successfully staged a 10% rebound from its recent market bottom recorded earlier this month.

Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA): Shares rose 1.5% following the bank's announcement of its 2025 financial results. The lender reported an annual net profit of SAR 24.79 billion ($6.61 billion), an increase from SAR 19.72 billion in the previous year. Additionally, the bank declared a cash dividend of SAR 1.75 per share for the second half of the year, representing an approximately 20% increase over the same period last year.

The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA): The Kingdom’s largest lender by assets saw its shares advance 2%. The move followed the publication of its 2025 fiscal year results, which detailed a significant increase in net profit reaching SAR 25.01 billion, supported by growth in operating income and enhanced cost efficiencies.

Overall market activity remains centered on the banking sector, which continues to drive the benchmark index as investors respond to full-year profit growth and dividend distributions from leading financial institutions.

Shares of the national oil company, Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA), softened by 0.08%.

For other large-caps, ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) rises 1%, while Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) down by 1.5%.

East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry(1321.SA) reported a 42.3% YoY surge in third-quarter net profit to SAR 160 million, fueled by increased sales volumes and optimized production. Nine-month revenue reached SAR 1.597 billion, up 11.5%, while earnings per share climbed to SAR 12.98 amid strong delivery schedules. The stock jumps 10% after today's open.
