TASI Mid-Market Update — April 28, 2026

The Saudi Arabian benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), traded higher during Tuesday’s session, recording a gain of 0.1%. Market performance was primarily driven by a positive response to corporate earnings announcements, even as investors monitored ongoing geopolitical developments in the region.

Financial and energy heavyweights provided significant support to the index. Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA) saw its shares rise by 0.3%, while Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) advanced 0.8%. The upward movement in the energy sector aligned with a 2.1% increase in Brent crude futures, which reached $110.55 per barrel.

Despite the intraday gains, the market remains influenced by broader macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. While corporate results offered a localized boost, the overall sentiment is tempered by concerns over regional stability and its potential impact on GCC economies, with several expected to face contraction this year due to the spillover effects of the ongoing conflict.

In the large-cap sector, The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is advancing 0.9%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) edged higher by 0.2%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) is seeing a dip of 0.47%. Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) is easing by 0.4%.
