TASI Mid-Market Update — November 20, 2025

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA) opened slightly higher, before turned to a 0.1% loss in early Thursday trade. The early move tracked improved global sentiment after NVIDIA Corporation(NVDA.US)’s stronger-than-expected earnings forecast, which bolstered interest in technology and AI-related names.

Riyadh Cables Group Co.(4142.SA) gained 0.3%, while Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) rose 2.5%, following news that MP Materials Corporation Ordinary Shares - Class A(MP.US) will partner with Maaden and the U.S. Department of Defense to establish a rare earths refinery in Saudi Arabia.

Market participants are awaiting the release of September’s delayed U.S. non-farm payrolls report later today for indications on the Federal Reserve’s policy path. Current pricing shows about a 33% probability of a 25 bp rate cut in December, down from roughly 50% the previous day, a key consideration for Gulf markets where currencies are largely pegged to the U.S. dollar.

US–Saudi Deals Hit $575bn

Total US–Saudi investments reached $575 billion, including $307 billion from Trump’s Riyadh visit and $267 billion in new forum agreements. The deals span energy, AI, defense, space and healthcare, giving US firms Saudi market access while Saudi companies gain US technology, supporting growth in both economies.

Maharah Signs Deal during U.S.–Saudi Forum

Maharah Human Resources Co.(1831.SA)’s subsidiary GAC signed a five-year Brand License Agreement with ManpowerGroup during the U.S.–Saudi investment forum. The deal supports Maharah’s strategy to grow in professional recruitment and outsourcing, leveraging Manpower’s USD 18 billion global platform. Financial impact is expected from 2026.

Masar Sells SAR 91.8m Plot

Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction Co.(4325.SA) signed a reservation agreement to sell a 3,061.58 sqm plot in Makkah’s Masar Destination to Arabian Dyar for SAR 91.85 million. The investor paid a deposit and aims to finalize the sale by November 2026. The deal boosts liquidity now and adds to results once completed or on expiry.

Maaden, MP Materials Ink Rare Earth JV Deal

Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) signed a binding term sheet with MP Materials and Mountain JV to negotiate advisory, technical and shareholder agreements for a rare earth refining and separation facility in Saudi Arabia. Maaden will hold at least 51% of the JV, which expires if not finalized by March 2027. The term sheet has no immediate financial impact.
