Middle East Crude-Benchmarks fall to multi-year lows on rising supply

SINGAPORE, June 24 (Reuters) - Middle East crude benchmarks Oman, Dubai and Murban fell to multi-year lows on Wednesday, pressured by rising supply and a weak demand outlook.
The declines also came as oil prices fell more than 1%, extending this week's losses to fresh four-month lows on signs that more oil tankers are set to move out of the Strait of Hormuz. O/R
Physical crude oil cargoes are selling at discounts across the globe, changing trade flows as markets come under pressure from fast-rising Middle Eastern supply, with Iran set to boost sales following a temporary reprieve from U.S. sanctions.
TENDER
Taiwan's Formosa bought two million barrels of Qatar's al-Shaheen crude, trade sources said on Wednesday, its first purchase of crude from Qatar since the Iran war began.
The buy tender was awarded to Mercuria and the crude will be delivered between late August and late September, they said.

Cash Dubai's premium to swaps fell $1.37 to minus $1.64 a barrel.

Oman said it would keep the Strait of Hormuz open to shipping without imposing any tolls and had designated two temporary routes north and south of the existing shipping lane to facilitate the safe passage of vessels departing the region.
