U.S. stocks were higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 1% on Friday.

Shares of Monster Beverage Corp (NASDAQ:MNST) rose sharply after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.

Monster Beverage reported quarterly earnings of 58 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 53 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $2.354 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.159 billion.

Monster Beverage shares jumped 12.8% to $85.67 on Friday.

• Rocket Lab Corp (NASDAQ:RKLB) surged 19.1% to $93.56 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter sales results and issued second-quarter sales guidance above estimates. The company announced it will acquire Motiv Space Systems and was awarded a $30 million contract by Anduril Industries for multiple hypersonic test flights.
• Himax Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:HIMX) gained 17.7% to $18.86 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and issued second-quarter guidance above estimates.
• Consensus Cloud Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:CCSI) gained 17.6% to $33.27 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
