May 20 (Reuters) - Superannuation fund AustralianSuper named Sarah Carney as its first head of Artificial Intelligence and Automation on Wednesday, as it looks to ramp up integration of AI across its business.
Here are some details:
Carney comes with a decade-long stint at Microsoft, where she currently serves as National Chief Technology Officer for Australia and New Zealand.
Australia's largest pension fund said Carney will take charge in late July without disclosing a joining date.
Mike Backeberg, the fund's chief platforms officer, said the appointment marked a major step in the fund’s tech evolution.
