- JPMorgan Chase & Co JPM.N names Matt Tartaglia as its global head of director advisory services (DAS), based in New York, according to a memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.

The memo sent by Global Head of Advisory and M&A Anu Aiyengar said Tartaglia, who will report to her, brings more than 25 years of leadership experience.

In his new role, Tartaglia will lead efforts to unify the DAS practice and advance its global strategy.

Founded in 2016, DAS has built a network of about 10,000 board directors and senior executives, providing governance insights, board search support and connectivity for clients.

Tartaglia most recently served as chief revenue officer at private community network World 50, where he led the commercial strategy for its global community of Fortune 500 CEOs, board directors and senior executives.

He also served as chief development officer at another private executive community G100 Network, held senior roles at business intelligence firm L2, and spent more than a decade at Deloitte, according to the memo.

Jessica McIntosh and Louise Bennetts will continue to oversee North America and EMEA respectively, reporting to Tartaglia, the memo added.

Aiyengar said in the memo that Tartaglia's expertise in governance dynamics, strategic needs of board directors and peer networks will help deepen the firm's influence and deliver greater value to clients.
