INTEREST RATES

On Wednesday, the Polish Monetary Policy Council will announce its decision on interest rates and analysts polled by Reuters expect rates to remain unchanged.


NATO SUMMIT

Five NATO members are projected to meet the alliance's goal of spending 3.5% of gross domestic product on core defence already in 2026, according to updated NATO data published on Tuesday ahead of a leaders' summit in Ankara, which also showed some members are still expected to spend only about 2%.

The Polish President, the Minister of Defence and the Minister of Foreign Affairs are taking part in the ongoing NATO summit.


PAC-3 MISSILE

The United States will establish a maintenance facility for Lockheed Martin's LMT.N advanced PAC-3 air defence missile in Europe, a senior official said on Tuesday, adding that Washington was not ruling out production of the missile abroad.


FOREIGN INVESTMENTS

In 2025, Poland will receive $13.9 billion in foreign direct investment, which is 1.9% less than the previous year, Puls Biznesu daily reported.
